  Our planetarium shows are impressive, multi-media experiences on a 360° fulldome screen and are presented by the competent members of the Kreuzlingen Astronomical Association AVK. Each show ends with a live moderated look at the current starry sky - possible in any weather thanks to projection and dome screen.

  Observatory visit

  In the observatory, unlike the planetarium, you can look into the "real" sky with highly sensitive telescopes. The protective dome roof of the observatory can be opened for this purpose.
  Every Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. the observatory opens its doors to the public. Together we look at the current starry sky, spot galaxies and constellations. We are also prepared for overcast skies or rain: In the planetarium dome, the current starry sky can be projected onto a 360° screen using the latest technology.

  Planet Trail

  The distances in space are immeasurable. In our solar system alone, there are billions of kilometers - for most of us, unimaginable "astronomical" numbers.
  
  The two planetary paths in Kreuzlingen offer you the opportunity to stroll through space in comfort. The scale of the routes is 1:1,000,000,000. With each step, you cover twice the distance between the earth and the moon; if you walk at a leisurely pace, you can reach three to four times the speed of light!
  
  Both planetary paths begin on the planet Pluto, and the starting point is either the Siegershausen train station (Planetary Path South) or the Bodenseetherme Konstanz (Planetary Path North). The routes are each six kilometers long - a leisurely and educational walk for the whole family.
