A great family trip to Purgstall on the Erlauf.
In the Erlauftal Fire Brigade Museum you can see the development of the Lower Austrian fire service. Many interesting objects await you.
Every first Saturday of the month there are tours in an old fire engine from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Afterwards you can carry out a "firefighting attack".
If you then want to go on a hike, the natural monument "Erlaufschlucht" is opposite the Fire Brigade Museum.
