Leisure fun for the whole family awaits you in the Sauerland. At the Kappe adventure mountain there are many attractions for young and old. The excursion destination in Winterberg is also perfect for friends and groups and offers plenty of variety with numerous leisure activities in the Sauerland. The Kappe Adventure Mountain is not an amusement park in the classic sense, but a mountain full of games, fun and sports for an eventful day.
At the Fly-Line you start a very special flying adventure. The 1,000-meter-long flight takes you right through nature and over parts of the bike park.
Skill and courage are required in the Winterberg climbing forest - 70 stations divided into 7 courses and a children's course await you.
Next door, in Germany's largest and most versatile bike park, the mountain bikers are taking off.
The heart of the Kappe Adventure Mountain is the impressive Panorama Adventure Bridge, a 20-meter-high hiking trail above the treetops with 5 fun elements and a tube slide at the end.
Guests whizz down 700 metres into the valley on the summer toboggan run through curves, over bridges and jumps.
New since 2023: on our new and modern 18-hole adventure golf course you can prove how precisely you can hole the ball.
The kids can have fun on Kappi's playground, with the KinderCars, mini excavators or on the trampoline.
If you prefer something more leisurely, you can take the Kappe Express or use our 6-seater chairlift.

The Panorama Adventure Bridge is open all year round. Opening times may vary depending on operations and weather conditions.

Directions
Parking: Parking spaces are available free of charge (until May 2024) in the large parking lot directly next to the climbing forest. From here you can reach the other attractions at the Kappe adventure mountain in just a few meters. There are also a limited number of paid parking spaces at the cape itself.
Kappe Express: From the center of Winterberg, directly from the market square at the gate, you have the opportunity to take the Kappe Express directly to the Kappe adventure mountain. There is exciting knowledge and background information about the city of Winterberg and its sights!
By bus: The VeltinsEisArena/Bobbahn bus stop is located directly at the Kappe adventure mountain. From here you reach Duuns after only a few meters. The stop at the hostel is called Poppenberg.
By train: Winterberg train station is located directly in the center. If you arrive by train, you have the option of changing to one of the buses here or the Kappe Express takes you from the Winterberg market square, about 400 m away, directly up to the Kappe adventure mountain.
On foot: about 30 minutes from the train station or the center of Winterberg.
