Once hiked and loved with enthusiasm by Sisi, Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary, the Loser in Altaussee is now the alpine sports and hiking center in the Styrian Salzkammergut, especially for families.

Numerous hiking routes and mountain tours of all levels of difficulty lead from the Loser plateau to some of the most important peaks and most beautiful viewing points in the Salzkammergut - guaranteed fog-free ;)
