Description Destination

The Lünersee, once one of the largest natural mountain lakes in the Eastern Alps, is located at an altitude of 1,970 m. It is located at the end of the Brandnertal valley, but belongs to the municipality of Vandans in Montafon.

Families, mountain fans and nature lovers will find a wide range of activities here. The Lünersee is the starting point for numerous hikes, including to the Schesaplana, the highest mountain in the Rätikon. The unique nature of the Rätikon, the fresh mountain air and a breathtaking Alpine panorama make the visit a unique experience.

Fishermen also find optimal conditions at the Lünersee.

In addition, alpine climbing tours such as the Kirchlispitzen or the Schesaplana are among the most beautiful leisurely climbing tours in the Rätikon.
