Description Destination

The most important museum in the Eastern Alps was created from a decades-long passion for searching for and collecting minerals.
Around 1000 individual exhibits, which were created in the depths of our earth around 30 million years ago, are on display on 300 m² of exhibition space.
A special attraction, in addition to the largest smoky quartz in South Tyrol and the reconstructed alpine cracks, is the most beautiful rock crystal "Gwindl" in the world from the Prettau mine.
Let yourself be enchanted by the intense charisma of the diverse crystals in our mountains.
