Interesting objects and documents from the old "monastery pharmacy", herbal books and herb collections, healing stones and spices take us back to the early days of monastic medicine. The exhibition makes us marvel at how much the knowledge of today's psychology that physical and mental health form a unity was already present back then. Father Sebastian, who has lived in Marienberg for over 60 years, tells us in an interview about his experiences with medicinal remedies that nature gives us and that he collects and processes himself.

The Benedictine monastery of Marienberg is located at about 1350 m above sea level, on the mountainside above the village of Burgeis, on the road towards Schlinig and Watles. An information board in the bend of the car park indicates the location of the monastery.
