The four-kilometer-long natural toboggan run through the larch forest of the Watles adventure mountain is a real insider tip for families and probably one of the most beautiful natural toboggan runs in all of South Tyrol. The natural toboggan run is easily accessible by chairlift and is therefore ideal for families with small children. But the comfortable winter hiking trail also leads over the Höfer Alm, to the Plantapatschhütte and to the starting point of the toboggan run (approx. 1.5 hours ascent from the valley station).
At the mountain station, where there is also a toboggan rental, as well as at the valley station, there are family-friendly refreshment options with spacious sun terraces.

The Watles adventure mountain above Burgeis in the Upper Vinschgau is an ideal starting point for numerous winter experiences with a wonderful panoramic view over the entire Upper Vinschgau valley and the surrounding mountains.
In winter, the Watles adventure mountain transforms into one of the sunniest ski areas in South Tyrol. It includes four slopes with a total of 18 kilometers of slopes (6 blue, 12 red), a 4 km long toboggan run and the cross-country skiing and biathlon center in Schlinig. But ski tourers will also find real challenges here, as Watles offers numerous routes into the high mountains and its own downhill route for ski tours.

For our little guests, the 1500 m² play lake offers plenty of free adventures with a wooden raft, a large suspension bridge, a spring, 2m high waterfalls and a small stream! Cozy snack stations with seating areas invite you to have a picnic together. On the sandy beach with wooden loungers you can unwind and enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama up close.
