In Gütle, a district of Dornbirn, there are two of the largest gorges in Central Europe: the Rappenloch and Alploch gorges. Wooden walkways lead past breathtaking scenery. An hour is enough to hike from the starting point in Gütle through the first gorge, past the Staufensee and then through the Alpenloch gorge to Ebniter Straße. From there, buses run regularly back to the starting point, the former Hämmerle factory - which is now home to the Rolls Royce Museum.

The Vordere-Achmühler-Straße is closed between Gechelbachgasse and the Weißachergasse junction until August 2019. Therefore, the following tips for getting there

From the Bregenzerwald (coming from Bödele)
Follow the signposted diversion via Sebastianstraße, Sägerstraße to the L190 city road. There, turn left onto the L190 and then you can turn left again towards Gütle/Rappenloch before or after the Sägerbrücke.

Coming from the Achraintunnel
Drive along the L200 to the L190 city road. There, turn left onto the L190 and then you can turn left again towards Gütle/Rappenloch before or after the Sägerbrücke.
