Description Destination

The Ratschings Almenweg starts on the Jaufenstraße and leads through a beautiful landscape past seven alpine pastures. First you reach the Kalcheralm, from there you continue to the Rinneralm and the Wasserfalleralm. It continues along the existing hiking trail to the Saxnerhütte. The next alpine pastures are the outer and inner Wumblsalm. The path finally ends at the Klammalm at an altitude of 1925 meters, from where you can take the marked path no. 12 down to Flading. The Almenweg is easy to manage in a day trip and is also suitable for families. It is also possible to take the Ratschings-Jaufen cable car up or down - you can also walk the Almenweg from the mountain station.
