The Technorama is one of the largest science centers in Europe and, with its unique variety of experiments, offers almost endless opportunities to experience science in a fun and educational way at the same time.
At countless experiment stations, visitors can get hands-on and experience and manipulate natural phenomena with all their senses in order to "understand" the world in both senses of the word.
In the Technorama, you can touch everything and play with it and experiment with it: touching is encouraged! Learning in the Science Center is playful, through the direct experience of natural phenomena, through art that touches us, through challenges that we face in laboratories and AdventureRooms, through dialogue with family and friends or by building our own machines in the inventor's workshop. The Technorama offers variety and inspiration for several days and awakens curiosity and enthusiasm for science and technology.

Since April 2021: With a good 15,000 square meters, the new outdoor area is not only twice as large as all the exhibition areas in Technorama combined, but also an experience in itself: Stroll along winding paths through a dense forest of poles, discover nature in meadows and on the banks and marvel at completely new exhibits in XXL format.

More than an escape room: The AdventureRooms Technorama in Winterthur are a real world premiere: A collaboration between AdventureRooms and a science center - this has never happened before!

What's so special about it? As with a "normal" escape room (also called an "escape game" or "live escape"), you and your team have to escape from a room. To do this, you have to find hidden clues, solve puzzles and prove your skill and team spirit. But here's the highlight: everything was co-developed and built by the experienced Technorama team!

In our laboratories we offer daily public workshops and open labs on topics such as biology, chemistry and physics. The spectrum of offers ranges from the first, more hands-on approach to the natural sciences, for example in the form of simple experiments in the kitchen, to more challenging topics involving quantitative methods.

By car: Five minutes from exit no. 72 (Oberwinterthur) on the A1. Follow the signs. There are parking spaces in front of the building. There is a charging station for electric cars (Energie 360°) for a fee.
By public transport: Take the train to "Oberwinterthur" station - from here it is a ten-minute walk. Or take bus 5 directly from Winterthur to the "Technorama" station.
If you are arriving by public transport, it is best to use RailAway's offers for combination tickets with reduced travel and entrance prices!
