The Schulerloch stalactite cave is a delight with its stalactite decorations: on the tour you will see rare cauliflower sinter, a unique cup stalagmite and much more. Interesting facts are spiced up with a pinch of fantasy for young and old. At the end of each tour, a unique projection on the cave wall sends visitors on an (almost) real journey through time: you experience the formation of the earth, dive into the Jurassic Sea and meet Neanderthals. And there! Is a mammoth actually dancing around the corner?!

      An (almost) real journey through the history of the earth.
      You dive into the Jurassic Sea, meet dinosaurs and see the ancient Danube flowing through the rocks. Then comes the Ice Age and the first cave dwellers: who could they be?

      On the walls you can see "sections" of cave paintings with wonderful animals that prehistoric artists painted on the cave walls, such as those in Altamira/Spain or Lascaux/France.
      In the center there is an octagonal display case that reflects the special shape of the building above the Schulerloch. The contents consist of finds from the Schulerloch and were specially designed for this exhibition. This way you can learn new things about various areas of archaeology.
      Four short films about bats are shown on the large TV in the museum, with a total running time of just under 30 minutes.
