Description Destination

The power of water is the motto of the four themed trails that await nature-loving and knowledge-hungry hikers in the Mühlwaldertal near Mühlwald. Each one has its own charm.
The routes:
A power of water: The circular route around the Mühlwald reservoir is the shortest and most comfortable tour and invites you to enjoy it at any time of the year.
B Water and Wheel: The “Water and Wheel” trail brings visitors to Innermühlwald closer to the world of mills and shows the dangers that untamed water power entails.
C Lappacher Klamm: The path through the original Lappacher Klamm is more demanding, but is fully secured. This third section can be perfectly combined with a circular hike that starts from the village of Lappach, with its museum on the theme of “The Magic of Water”, and leads back there.
D Neves Reservoir: The circular path around the Neves Reservoir is the last, high alpine and particularly attractive link in this diverse chain of stones and bays, sand, sun and shade, whirlpools and calm, fog, ice and snow.
The total walking time is six to seven hours. Individually, however, it only takes one and a half hours. The return journey by bus is possible from Lappach.
