The wortreich in Bad Hersfeld is a world of knowledge and experience for language and communication. On 1,200m² you can experience the topics of language and communication interactively at over 90 hands-on exhibits. wortreich guests can play basketball with letters, write with their eyes, move a ball using only the power of their thoughts, test their body language and much more!
The interactive experience exhibition is a leisure and family experience and is suitable for all ages. Experience fun games, tricky knowledge tests and modern computer stations. The wortreich is completely barrier-free.
Use your visit to wortreich for a welcoming lecture, a guided wortreich tour or a themed tour on communication or e.g. B. with the Brave Little Tailor. In addition, the world of knowledge and experience offers interactive team events, theater, news and stop-motion workshops as well as children's programs during the holidays or for birthdays.

Last admission to the wortreich experience exhibition is one hour before closing time. Our shop is available for your purchases until closing time.
We are closed on Mondays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Please note, however: we are open on Easter Monday.
Our exhibition and our rooms can also be booked for groups outside of opening hours. -

Follow the municipal parking guidance system to the Schilde-Park parking garage. There is a parking garage for 180 cars available. Parking costs €1.00 per hour and a day ticket costs a maximum of €5.00. There is a free parking area for coaches in the immediate vicinity.
A bus stop bay allows coaches to stop directly at Schilde Park. You can reach this by entering the address Benno-Schilde-Str. in your navigation system. Enter 21.
Arriving by train
You can easily reach the wortreich from the train station on foot: Follow Bahnhofstraße straight ahead until you reach Friedloser Straße and turn left here. From there, cross a large intersection straight ahead and after about 400 meters you will reach the wortreich. About 10 minutes walk.
On foot from the city centre
At the City-Galerie, turn into Benno-Schilde-Straße and follow it for about 100 meters until you reach the city ring road. Once you have crossed it, you will find yourself directly in Schilde Park.

Im wortreich erfährt man interaktiv wie spannend und lebendig Sprache ist und wie vielfältig Kommunikation sein kann. Viele Mitmachstationen richten sich sowohl an Erwachsene wie auch Kinder, einige können auch gemeinsam mit der ganzen Familie ausprobiert werden. Ein tolles Erlebnis für alle!

Museum der besonderen Art
Das wortreich begeisterte meine Kinder und mich mit den interaktiven Exponaten, die jeden zum Mitmachen anregen. Es wird nicht langweilig und auch bei erneuten Besuchen findet jeder neue spannende und interessante Dinge. Die verschiedenen Angebote wie Ferienprogramm, Workshops oder Führungen sind noch ein weiterer Pluspunkt, der hier nicht extra benannt werden kann.
