We want to hike, ideally with a lake, a restaurant nearby, and not too far away. Sounds simple? It wasn't. A platform for well-researched family-friendly destinations is missing.

That's how the idea was born: familienausflug.info – a website that provides parents with suitable excursion tips within minutes. With filters, pictures, reviews, and all the information a family really needs.

As an experienced portal manager in the tourism industry, I knew how to get started. What began with a lot of passion, research, and DIY work has, over the years, become the go-to resource for family outings in Austria and beyond. Our community grew with every excursion tip . First around Salzburg, then throughout the entire country. Today, familienausflug.info helps hundreds of thousands of families every month find the perfect destination .

Back then, I, a non-graphic designer, created the first familienausflug.info logo entirely on my own.
