With the free app “Actionbound” you can now enjoy nature in the middle of the city of Calw on an exciting digital scavenger hunt. The new nature experience guide guides you through the old town of Calw with quiz questions and audio contributions while you use your own smartphone. You have a duty to save Calw’s urban climate.
To achieve this, you must collect climate points and find a solution. You can achieve this by solving the puzzles and tasks related to rocks, rivers, fauna and flora along the way.
It is easy to follow the route thanks to the GPX track. The children are especially encouraged to solve the puzzles and collect points for each station reached.
How does the game work?
First, it is necessary to install the “Actionbound” app on your smartphone (which is available free of charge in the App Store). You can then start the search in the “Calw” app or scan the QR code on site (which can be found at the tourist information office or on the homepage).
Here is the way to the Actiobound tour!
The tour is 2.1 km long and takes approximately 2 hours. The route starts at Calw train station and leads through the old town along the Nagold and runs via steps back through the city park.
The tour is especially suitable for families with middle school-aged children.
