Description Destination
Go on a discovery tour with the locals and let them show you not only their secret places and the art of “blasting”, but also try your hand at being a blowtorch yourself. With a little luck you will find your very own crystal.
Every Wednesday from July 5th to August 16th and from October 4th to 18th, 2023, we go on a prospector excursion as part of the “Bialas vacanzas” guest program from Disentis Sedrun Tourism. The program, which can also be booked for entire groups and families, is suitable for children from the age of seven.
The meeting point is at 8.40 a.m. in Sedrun at the valley station of the Sedrun-Cuolm da Vi cable car. From the top station of the cable car you can enjoy an unforgettable view over the Surselva and then start our expedition into the realm of crystals from 2400 meters above sea level, equipped with a chisel and a prospecting stick. The hiking time from the mountain station is around 1.15 hours. We returned to the mountain station around 3.30 p.m.
Equipment: Good shoes, hiking gear, possibly work gloves, food from the backpack. Please leave some space in your backpack for your tools.
