On the Dortmund Crime Trail, you set out together as an investigative team to solve a criminal case: Jens Halbig, a high-ranking executive in major industry, has been murdered. At the same time, you will (re)discover interesting and unknown places in Dortmund.
Equipped with the crime file and an interactive map on your smartphone, you collect clues at various locations in the Kreuzviertel, solve puzzles, check alibis and cleverly combine evidence and statements from witnesses and suspects. You are constantly connected to the operations center via online chat and receive further information about the crime.
Here's how it works:
You can hunt down criminals using the interactive map, which shows the crime scene and the frequent locations of all suspects. At each location there is a puzzle waiting for you to solve in the online chat. If necessary, you can use the chat to get help with the puzzle questions and further clues about the crime. Once you have identified the perpetrator, you can solve the crime by arresting the suspected subject online.
