Housed in the old historic hangar no. 8, over 25 aircraft from the history of Austrian military aviation are on display on 5,000 m². The aircraft on display include a Yakovlev Yak-18, the first aircraft to enter service with the Austrian Federal Army of the Second Republic, and other types that are important to the history of the air force, such as the Fouga CM 170 "Magister", De Havilland DH-115 "Vampire", Saab J-29F "Flying Barrel" and Agusta Bell 204, as well as the famous Saab 35OE "Draken". In addition to fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, aviation enthusiasts can view a simulator, aircraft engines, jet engines, anti-aircraft guns, radar equipment, aviation equipment, uniforms and equipment of the air force, numerous display boards and photographs, as well as special exhibitions on various topics of military aviation in Austria.
