In summer, holidaymakers at Hauser Kaibling get their money's worth with mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, mountain climbing and, above all, with the numerous family activities. Discover fabulous places and the most beautiful viewpoints, such as from the summit at 2,015 meters.
With 800 sheep on the mountain and our petting zoo at the 8-seater gondola mountain station at 1,424 meters above sea level, you can pet our woolly sheep, lambs, goats, rabbits, ponies and much more. experience up close. Our tip: Keep an eye out for our shepherd who looks after the sheep with his sheepdog all summer long.
On the way from the Quattralpina mountain station at 1,865 m down to the mountain station of the 8-seater gondola, we have set up 13 incredibly cool target baskets. Marmots, eagles, chamois, ibexes and the like will not only test your skills, but also your brains. At each station, there are great quizzes waiting for you about the animal inhabitants of the Alps - which you can admire in full life size. Once you reach the finish line, a delicious scoop of ice cream will be waiting for you :-).
Our animal disc golf course is perfect for families and friends and anyone who wants to learn more about local wildlife. Our tip: Take a break at our Ennslingalm reservoir! The view is sensationally beautiful there.

From Germany:
Coming from Germany, you can easily take the Munich-Salzburg motorway and then the Tauern motorway (A10) to the Ennstal junction. From there it is only about 30 km via the federal highway (B320) to the Hauser Kaibling ski area.
From Upper Austria/Germany:
An alternative route leads from Nuremberg via Regensburg and Passau to the Voralpenkreuz in Wels. From there, continue on the Pyhrn motorway (A9) to the Selzthal junction and from there on the federal road (B320) towards Haus im Ennstal.
From Vienna:
Coming from the east, you arrive via Vienna (A23) and the Southern Autobahn (A2), then via the Semmering (S6) to the St. Michael junction. From there, take the Pyhrn motorway (A9) to the Liezen junction and then the Ennstal federal road (B320) to Haus im Ennstal.
Arrival by train:
The Hauser Kaibling ski area is located on the international Salzburg-Graz railway line. Express train stations are Schladming and Gröbming, express train stations are Haus im Ennstal and Öblarn.
From the valley station of the 8-seater gondola, take the cable car from the car park/bus stop to the mountain station.
