Avoiding misuse

We strive to maintain the high quality of reviews on familienausflug.info through effective measures. Among other things, we check all reviews for the following indications of misuse before awarding the award :

Delivery by addresses that can be clearly assigned to the destination.
Submitting reviews via known “disposable addresses”.
Using the same IP for multiple reviews of a destination.

In addition, we only allow reviews with verified email addresses and that comply with our guidelines (see above). Additional, sometimes manual, checks are performed randomly.

familienausflug.info aims to provide the most comprehensive overview of reviews for all destinations. To this end, we also check freely accessible online reviews daily. These are presented separately and linked to the source. A comparison is performed automatically, but may fail if the destination's name and address are insufficient.

Editorial reviews

Specially marked, editorial reviews provide an additional source of information for visitors. Editorially selected excursion destinations are visited by our familienausflug.info team or our insiders and rated in detail with a star rating and text. If the visit involves a purchased service or sponsorship, we will specifically mention this within the review.
