Description Destination
As the name suggests, this path offers particularly worthwhile views over the Gsies Valley - and not just from one, but from several viewpoints. In addition, the Gsieser Talblickweg is also characterized by the fact that it is uniformly marked with white dots and is excellently signposted. This makes it possible to comfortably walk around the entire Gsies Valley just a few metres above the valley floor. The route leads partly on the old valley road, partly on farm driveways and partly on other paths from the Welsberg/Taisten area on one side of the Gsieser Valley to the end of the valley in St. Magdalena and out again on the other side of the valley. You hike across flowering meadows as well as through beautiful forest areas, past typical Gsies farms and larger and smaller villages and hamlets. The tour covers a total of 35km, which is why it is recommended to only walk parts of the route, which can be started and ended in Welsberg, Taisten, Pichl, St. Martin, St. Magdalena or at various other points.
