The House of Music is an interactive sound museum in Vienna's city center. The exhibition areas in the House of Music offer new, innovative approaches to the subject of music. A unique, musical experience - didactically prepared using the most modern methods. An area of 5000 m² is exclusively available to areas that are dedicated to the most diverse explorations of music and, above all, to the experience of music.
Roll your own waltz, hear your name as an original Mozart composition, create a unique sound creature in the virtual reality laboratory or conduct the world-famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra - here visitors get to know the great masters of classical music and immerse themselves in the fascinating world of sounds.

The House of Music is located in the city center of Vienna, in the historic Palais Erzherzog Karl. It is located in the musical heart of Vienna, between St. Stephen's Cathedral and the State Opera, next to the University of Music and Performing Arts. The main entrance is on Seilerstätte. From the baroque Annagasse or Krugerstraße, which connects Kärntner Straße with Schwarzenbergstraße, you enter the House of Music via its side entrances.
