IKUNA transforms into a magical sea of lights including an ice rink throughout the winter
The “Magical World of Lights” – a special experience for young and old. From November 22nd, 2024 to February 23rd, 2025, a path of lights will lead through the IKUNA forest. Every weekend before Christmas there is also an Advent and arts and crafts market. The ice rink “IKUNA ON ICE” makes children’s hearts beat faster and invites adults to try their hand at curling.
Take a walk along a 1 km long, magically illuminated path that leads you through the sparkling world of lights. Discover several light-staged highlight stations, accompanied by music, that invite you to marvel and dream. You will be accompanied by the charming forest elf Leni, the main character of this enchanted journey. She takes you into her world full of adventure. For all those who want to delve deeper into Leni's stories, there is the book "The Adventures of the Forest Elf Leni" - perfect for dreaming and reading. The story was written by Claudia Edermayer, a regional author, and illustrated by the local illustrator, Claudia Viechtbauer.
At Christmas time additionally:
A total of over 50 different exhibitors will present their lovingly designed works of art in 24 identical wooden huts until December 22, 2024. In addition, there is a weekly changing supporting program with musical performances by and with children and young people and live bands.
