Description Destination
Come with Rosi on an exciting discovery tour on the new children's path in Oppenau. The path begins on the town hall square, from where you can take the Kapellellenweg through the gardens to the Promenadenweg. Here you continue walking past the Friedburg to the Katzenbuckelpavillon. You walk past colorful birdhouses to the castle grounds. Now follow the new path through the ford over the bridge and further up until you reach the Kleinebene. Here you continue walking to the playground with the great photo frame. Back again and past the giant eggs you continue to the pavilion at Schiebenfelsen. A small path now takes you down to the Kletthütte. Here you have a great view of the church and Oppenau. Now follow the signs back to the starting point.
There are many exciting things to discover along the way: a huge bird's nest, a great playground and exciting puzzle boards.

Take the Appenweier motorway exit coming from Karlsruhe and Freiburg, then take the B28 towards Appenweier / Oberkirch and after about 25 km you will arrive in Oppenau.
From Freudenstadt, follow the B28 to Oppenau. There are long-term parking spaces at the swimming pool (street: Einmatt) or at the train station.
The nearest IC/ICE stop is Offenburg. From there, take the Ortenau S-Bahn for 30 minutes to Oppenau train station (towards Bad Griesbach) or alternatively take bus number 7137 from Offenburg's central bus station (2 minutes from Offenburg train station) to Oppenau train station.
