Description Destination
Every year, the Klax Nature and Environmental Camp sets up its tipis in the idyllic Mecklenburg landscape between Lake Malchin, Lake Köplin and Lake Müritz and awaits children and families with exciting offers for thrilling adventures. Whether as a day visitor or overnight stay, families can look forward to exciting and relaxing hours.
Sleeping in a tepee promises comfort and adventure at the same time. The tipi is a traditional tent of the indigenous peoples of North America that is in complete harmony with nature. It can be constructed without any use of plastic and metal. Poles, branches, cloth and rope – that’s all the building materials you need to build this special shelter.
There is room for seven people in each of the spacious, cone-shaped tents, which are equipped with an insulating wooden floor. Our 10 tipis can comfortably accommodate school classes and daycare groups as well as families for several days including overnight stays.
Our nature camp is very family-friendly, quiet and a real alternative to large campsites. Two creative tents, a small museum log cabin, comfortable and new sanitary facilities with toilets and showers as well as a kitchen building with kiosk and reception complete our offer on the site.

The nearest long-distance train stations are Waren (Müritz), Langhagen and Teterow. You can arrange a pick-up via the Müritz transfer for a fee. Further information can be found here: http://www.mueritz-transfer.de/
With the wheel:
From Langhagen it is 12 km via the Rehberger Weg. From Waren (Müritz) you drive 19.6 km on the L205 and from Teterow on the B108 it is 17.2 km.
By car:
From the motorway, take the Linstow exit and follow the signs to Ulrichshusen Castle. Our camp is signposted from Klocksin/Moltzow.
