Description Destination
Observing mighty ibexes in the wild and up close is one of the absolutely unforgettable experiences in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Resettled in the Hohe Tauern in 1960, the "King of the Alps" feels particularly at home at the foot of the Grossglockner: more than 120 animals form the largest ibex colony in the entire national park. And this is exactly where the morning ibex observation starts with an experienced national park ranger. A superlative nature experience, which is also accompanied by the "sight" of marmots and, with a little luck, golden eagles and bearded vultures.
The tour takes place every Friday from May 26th to October 27th, 2023.
