Description Destination
The Speikboden ski area is diverse - especially when it comes to the range of activities on offer. Not only skiing and snowboarding are popular, but also tobogganing, a winter sport with a high fun factor that is particularly popular with families and children. There are two toboggan runs in the ski area, one of which can be described as the longest toboggan run in South Tyrol. The starting point of both toboggan runs is at the mountain station, which can easily be reached with the Speikboden cable car.
With a length of ten kilometers, you can leisurely ride down to Luttach on a very well-prepared - and if necessary even artificially snow-covered - toboggan run. The second toboggan run, which is also wide and a total of eight kilometers long, has the same starting point, but turns off to Weißenbach after a few kilometers. From both destinations you can take the ski or regular bus back to the valley station.

Arrival via Innsbruck/Brenner (A):
Take the Brenner motorway (A22) to the Brixen/Pustertal exit, then continue on the state road (SS49-E66) to the Pustertal. The western gate to the Kronplatz holiday region is in St. Sigmund near Kiens.
Arrival via Lienz (A):
You can also reach us via Lienz in East Tyrol (A). You pass the Austrian-Italian border between Ahrnbach and Winnebach (B100-E66) and continue on the state road (SS49-E66) to the Pustertal. The eastern gate to the Kronplatz holiday region is in Welsberg.
