Grächen is located on a sunny terrace high above the Mattertal at 1620m. The mountain village impresses not only with its natural beauty, but also with its numerous leisure opportunities.
With 44 kilometers of slopes, the ski area is a true piste experience with a magnificent mountain panorama. The varied ski area in Grächen offers ideal piste conditions for young and old.
38 km of winter hiking trails and 23 km of snowshoe trails also draw non-skiers out into the snowy winter landscape.
The Hannigalpbahn cable car takes you comfortably to 2,114 metres above sea level, where guests can live out their skiing dreams on snow slopes of varying difficulty levels. From there, several lifts take you even further up into the mountain atmosphere up to 2,864 metres. A winter sports enthusiast with a wide range of interests meets up at the top, as professionals, beginners and recreational skiers alike will find the right slope on the Hanningalp. Ideally groomed slopes of varying difficulty levels as far as the eye can see. And things get really exciting in the cool fun parks.
The restaurants and bars on the Hannigalp offer culinary highlights along with fantastic views of the Valais mountain landscape.
Grächen offers many opportunities to recharge your energy reserves in one of the numerous wellness oases. Take a deep breath in the sauna or swim long laps in the pool – the main thing is to relax!
