Description Destination
The observation tower on the Kreuzbergl, on which the observatory was placed in 1965 and opened to the public, offers an impressive view of the surrounding area and as far as Slovenia. The Klagenfurt observatory soon became one of the most important cultural institutions in Carinthia.
Note: There are currently no public tours, but the observatory can be rented for private tours for up to 35 people. The price for this is EUR 150.00 for around 2 hours. The times for this must be agreed privately; the time given here is only a guideline.
