Description Destination
Andermatt+Sedrun+Disentis have taken the Swiss cross in the flag literally and transformed it into a plus for the winter experience. In addition to skiing, guests can discover another plus of winter in every respect. Be it special piste highlights, a descent on the untouched freeride slopes or the diverse culinary offerings. These range from specially designed children's corners in family restaurants to rustic little pubs and sun terraces with mountain panoramas.
Board the train at any valley station
If you are too tired to ski all the way home, you can easily board the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn – the train ticket is included in the ski ticket. If you're lucky, you'll catch the Après-Ski Express and can enjoy a drink or a delicious snack during the ride. The après-ski trains run between Andermatt and Disentis twice a day in winter.
KidsArenas
In the Matti KidsArena at Nätschen, the Druni KidsArena in Sedrun and the Saxwiese in Disentis, little skiers will find their own playground. Magic carpets, practice slopes, a snow playground and funny mascots make the first descents a pleasure. And because so much fresh winter air and romping around in the snow makes you hungry, the children's restaurants are very close by.
Freeriding
The almost 3,000 m high Gemsstock and the Disentis area in particular offer great options for freeriders. From the Gemsstock, routes lead in all directions and with numerous variations back to the valley. Untouched slopes with lots of powder, natural drops and jumps await experienced deep snow fans.
Winter hiking
To the left and right of the alpine slopes, the snow options are very diverse. If you want to enjoy winter without any frills, you can find relaxation on the winter hiking trails. A well-prepared network of trails stretching several kilometers from Andermatt to Disentis.
Tobogganing
Tobogganing fans will also get their money's worth here: you can choose from the gentle Oberalpstrasse to Andermatt, the exciting track from Milez into the valley or the toboggan run with a sensational view towards Disentis. If you don't mind the climb, you can walk from Realp to Tiefenbach at the Furka Pass. After the two-hour climb, you can recover in the Tiefenbach restaurant and then tackle the rapid descent into the valley with renewed strength.

Directions to Andermatt/Oberalp/Sedrun & parking
The Andermatt/Sedrun ski area is located in the cantons of Uri and Graubünden. In winter, Andermatt (Uri) and Sedrun (Graubünden) are not connected via the Oberalp Pass (winter closure). Therefore, you can reach the ski area either via Uri or Graubünden. Andermatt is located almost directly at the Göschenen motorway exit of the A2. The paid parking spaces in Andermatt can be reached in just a few minutes. To get to Sedrun, you drive from the Reichenau/Disentis motorway exit on the A13 for a good 60 kilometres along a well-developed road through the valley to the valley station in Dieni (Sedrun). You can park here in paid parking spaces.
Winter closure
The Oberalp Pass, the Furka Pass and the Gotthard Pass are closed in winter. Coming from the direction of Sedrun/Disentis/Mustér/Flims, the road to Andermatt is closed. Limited rail loading is offered via the Oberalp Pass. Coming from the Valais direction, the road is also closed. There is regular rail loading through the Furka Tunnel. Coming from Italy you drive through the Gotthard Tunnel.
