Description Destination
Welcome to the Astner Bergalm near Terenten in the Pustertal. Whether on foot, with a stroller, by mountain bike or even on horseback, the Astner Bergalm is easy to reach for everyone. The idyllically situated alpine hut is a very popular meeting place for a restful break or a cozy coffee.
Opening hours: 1 May to 1 November
Closed in winter
In summer, guests can enjoy the wonderful view and the fresh alpine air on the terrace. The menu is filled with interesting dishes and on Sundays visitors are treated to grilled chicken and pork knuckle. At the hut you can even rent a private alpine grill terrace to spend a summer barbecue day with friends and family.
The landscape around the hut is a natural paradise. Here, well-signposted hiking trails lead through forests and across lush meadows. The hut can be easily reached on foot from Terenten or from the Winnebachtal car park. You can also easily reach the popular alpine pasture with a stroller via the forest road. A highlight for the children are the many animals around the alpine pasture and the playground, which makes the trip an experience even for the youngest.
