Description Destination

One hour north of Strasbourg and 50 minutes west of Karlsruhe, at the gates of the Northern Vosges, is the Chemin des Cimes Alsace with its unique observation tower. The 1,000-metre-long wooden path winds its way through nature up to 24 metres above the ground in harmony with the lush backdrop of the Drachenbronn forest. As the highlight of the hike, the 30 m high observation tower offers a breathtaking 630-degree view of the full Rhine, the Vosges and the Black Forest. From up there, the entire Pays de Wissembourg and its rich history are revealed.
The Chemin des Cimes is a family-friendly outdoor destination that is accessible to all. With a maximum gradient of 6%, everyone can fully enjoy their experience in the forest. The trail is equipped with interesting learning stations that introduce the flora and fauna and the geology of the region, as well as experience stations for little adventurers.
In the restaurant "Chez Emile" you can enjoy varied, seasonal dishes, refresh yourself and treat yourself to some delicacies.
Another destination for adventurers is the Forêt d'Aventure Alsace! The giant playground extends over 14,000 square meters and offers all kinds of structures for outdoor fun and games!
