Description Destination

The Gsteier bouldering area is located at an altitude of around 1,600 meters, which makes it a transitional or summer climbing area. It was discovered several years ago by Helmut Haller; in the summer of 2016, the AVS state sport climbing squad began developing the area. Divided into the two sectors "Schneiderkofel" and "Grabe", there are almost 60 already cleaned boulders in the area. The grades range from 4a warm-up lines to an 8a, a really difficult chunk. All boulders are marked with arrows at the start. The name of the area goes back to the Gsteier inn, which is the ideal starting point for exploring the area.
