Description Destination

Hohenegg Castle has been owned by Count Montecuccoli since 1628 and was the family's residence and home until 1742.

During the Renaissance and Baroque periods, major extensions and renovations were carried out, but after that it was left unused and left to decay. Since the 1970s, however, the castle has been under renovation.

Today, the castle with its incomparable ambience can be rented for events such as festivals, cultural events or youth and tent camps (up to 150 people). The association charges a maintenance fee for use.
