Description Destination

There have always been several bridges in Ochsenfurt. One bridge was closed to everyone overnight due to its age. Residents from the other side of the Main now had to take a long, arduous journey to get to the old town. Resourceful citizens of the city looked for a ferry and found a used ship in Rotterdam. This was repainted and named "NIXE".
Since 2021, the NIXE has been running on a new, environmentally friendly engine.
