The Ziegenhagen Adventure Park is picturesquely located between the Werra Valley and the Kaufunger Forest – perfectly accessible for families from Hesse, Lower Saxony and Thuringia.
Arriving by car
• From the west (Kassel, A44/A7):
Follow the A7 to exit no. 75 Hann. Münden / Hedemünden. From there it is only about 3.5 km to the park.
• From the east (Halle, Nordhausen, Bad Heiligenstadt):
Use the B80 via Witzenhausen-Gertenbach or the A4 (Gera, Eisenach) as well as the B7/B27 (Eschwege, Witzenhausen). Leave the B80 in Gertenbach and follow the L3302 to Ziegenhagen.
Our park is located on the German holiday route Alps-Baltic Sea, the Historical Half-Timbered House Route and the German Fairy Tale Route, between the three-river town of Hann. Münden and the cherry town of Witzenhausen.
Arriving by public transport
• By train:
Travel to the Gertenbach or Witzenhausen train stations. From there you can reach the park by bus or call-and-share taxi (AST).
• Bus stop:
The “Ziegenhagen Freizeitpark, Witzenhausen” stop is about a 5-10 minute walk from the park entrance.
• Call-a-ride taxi (AST):
Please register at least 30 minutes before departure by calling 0800-939-0800. Service hours: daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays until midnight.
