Description Destination

In a typical Appenzell house in the village center of Herisau, lovingly displayed marionettes, hand puppets and other figures allow visitors to immerse themselves in worlds full of fantasy and poetry. Here, children can not only marvel at the figures, but also try out puppetry for themselves at various stations, guided by the house cat, or listen to exciting fairy tales.
The exhibitions change periodically and always allow new facets of puppetry to be discovered.

The museum can also be reserved to view the exhibition at your leisure. Guided tours for groups can also be booked with or without an aperitif.
