Description Destination
Footgolf is a combination of two of the world's most popular sports: golf and soccer. The aim of the game is to play a soccer ball with as few shots as possible from predetermined launch locations over various tracks into oversized holes (each with a diameter of approx. 53 cm). Footgolf is based on the rules and gameplay of golf, but simplified. To play footgolf, no handicap, course or special equipment is required.
Footgolf is played with a regular soccer ball on a traditional golf course and there is no referee. The sport can be played by people of all ages and sizes. You don't have to be an active player to play this sport. The desire and joy of exercising outdoors is enough. Footgolf does not require any special equipment, just normal casual or sports shoes. In order to protect the terrain, the rules stipulate that either shoes with multi-stud soles or shoes for turf or indoor surfaces are suitable. Cleated shoes are not permitted. The footgolf course is the first in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
