The large Obere Au outdoor pool complex in Chur is located by the Rhine at the foot of the Calanda. It impresses with its extensive lawn with shady trees and a view of the mountain panorama around Chur. The 50m pool with 8 lanes is suitable for swimming lengths, the learning pool offers lots of fun for children with a wide slide and a tube slide, and the spacious, multi-level children's paddling pool with a stream, fountain, waterfall, etc. attracts even the little ones to the water. Ball sports enthusiasts can also let off steam playing beach volleyball (not available in 2021) or duel in table tennis. If you're hungry, you can grill your own food at the shady barbecue area with comfortable seating, get a snack from the take away or Khurer Gnusswaga or treat yourself to culinary delights in the Obere Au sports restaurant. This makes the Obere Au outdoor pool the ideal meeting place in Chur for athletes, families and connoisseurs!
