Description Destination
The Stehrerhof open-air museum was opened in 1978 and shows a Hausruck farm, whose original design gives visitors a good impression of rural life in the 19th century. In the Hoarstube, the granary, the Dörrhäusl and the Göpelhütte you can also learn interesting things from that time.
A little way away from the Stehrerhof, the large octagonal hall was built in 1985, which houses the Austrian Threshing Machine Museum with the harvesting equipment exhibition of Austrian federal states.
In 1993, a neighboring Mittertennhof from the 16th century, the former "Davidn House", was ceremoniously opened as a craftsman's house. Over 70 crafts and manual skills are exhibited there and are demonstrated on special occasions.
