Description Destination
The medieval castle complex in Burgeis was built by the Bishop of Chur, Konrad, in the 13th century. Some alterations were made in the 16th and 17th centuries. Particularly worth seeing is the enormous keep with a wall three meters thick, which, together with the surrounding fortification and stronghold, forms the oldest part of the building stock.
