    By car
    You are driving on the motorway towards Salzburg coming from Vienna - Linz or Munich. Take the Mondsee motorway exit towards St. Gilgen - Wolfgangsee.
    After driving along Lake Mondsee, continue over the “Scharfling Pass” towards St. Gilgen. After the pass there is a yellow castle on the left, Hüttenstein Castle with the small Krottensee.
    After 500 meters, turn left immediately after the fire station. This small district of St. Gilgen is called “Winkl”. There, keep right (sign: Gasthof & Hotel Fürberg). You drive steeply downhill through a forest and reach the beautiful Fürberg Bay. When you are directly at the lake, turn right and you will reach the Gasthof & Hotel Fürberg.
    By train
    Salzburg main station:
    Once you arrive in Salzburg, the bus lines are located directly in front of Salzburg Central Station. Take bus line 150 towards Bad Ischl. After about an hour's bus ride you reach St. Gilgen, where you get off the bus. You are welcome to use the hourly boat connection to
    Fürberg or we will be happy to call you a taxi.
    Bad Ischl train station:
    Once you arrive in Bad Ischl, the bus lines are located directly in front of the train station. Take bus line 150 towards Salzburg. After about an hour's bus ride you will reach the St. Gilgen stop, where you will get off the bus. You are welcome to use the hourly boat connection to Fürberg or we will be happy to call you a taxi.
