Description Destination

The Gasthof Videgg was opened in 1964 as the first inn in the hamlet of Videgg by the Mair family in the picturesque Hirzer area. After a devastating fire in 2023, the house unfortunately had to close, but was rebuilt with a lot of passion and commitment.

In 2025, the Gasthof Videgg will open its doors again and invite guests to indulge in delicious regional South Tyrolean dishes. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the sunny terrace and relax in one of the ten new, lovingly designed double rooms.

To perfectly round off your stay, there are also two panoramic saunas at your disposal where you can end the day pleasantly. We look forward to welcoming you to the Gasthof Videgg soon!

    🚶Accessible via Schenna, to Verdins, with the Verdins cable car to Tall and from the mountain station turn right on foot. Approx. 1 hour leisurely hike, also possible with a stroller.

    🚙Or via the Passeier Valley by car towards Saltaus, after Saltaus turn right over the Schweinsteg bridge and always follow the main road to Prenn, then continue towards Videgg, takes approx. 40 minutes.
