If you are planning a leisurely trip to the slopes with children, the Postalm is the right place for you.
The gentle slopes are ideal for the first attempts at skiing, the atmosphere is family-friendly and the terrain is easy to navigate. A 100-meter-long, covered magic carpet takes you to the top safely and at a comfortable pace.
Children’s ski courses and individual lessons:
The Gabi Pilz ski school is located in the immediate vicinity of the magic carpet. Here, the youngest children learn how to handle and ride skis in special children's ski courses with lots of fun and variety. Private lessons are also possible. Practice takes place on the ski school’s own children’s area.
Further highlights:
- You can also use the magic carpet with tubes (tires), which you can easily rent on site, and zoom down along a designated area.
- There is also 1 platter lift and 3 drag lifts with blue slopes waiting for you, which are ideal for gaining your first skiing experience.
- Would you like to enjoy nature after a skiing lesson? Beautiful, groomed winter hiking trails are waiting to be explored by you.
- From the ski slope you can go straight into the warm room: 7 huts on the Postalm are also open in winter and provide you with refreshments and hut classics.

    Arrival via Upper Austria: Gmunden / Bad Ischl /Strobl:

    Westautobahn A1 – Regau exit
    on B 145 towards Bad Ischl
    continue on B 158 – first exit St. Wolfgang / Strobl
    then immediately right under the main road,
    up via the Höhenstraße to the Postalm Winterpark.

    Arrival via Salzburg – 2 options:

    Via B159 towards Golling/Abtenau,
    at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto B 162,
    continue on B 162 – take the Volgau exit,
    over the bridge and turn right onto Lammerweg,
    turn left onto Postalmstraße.

    Via A1 – Thalgau exit,
    B 158 towards Hof/Fuschl/St. Gilgen/Strobl
    After entering the town, immediately right, follow Postalmstraße.
