From the Ursprungalm in the Preuneggtal we enjoy a not too difficult but beautiful hike to two very photogenic mountain lakes.
Schladming-Dachstein: Popular circular hiking trail
We start our hike from the Ursprungalm, a small alpine village that lies picturesquely in a green basin at the foot of the Steirische Kalkspitze. After about an hour we reach the Giglachseen. The basin, framed by impressive peaks, serves as a fantastic photo motif. At the Ignaz-Mattis-Hütte, which is located a little higher up, we enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains.
