Description Destination
A ride on the Gleichenberg Railway is an experience for the whole family. During the journey you have wonderful views of the fields, meadows and forests of the southeast Styrian hills. You can often catch glimpses of deer, hares and birds in the forest. The train journey between Feldbach and Bad Gleichenberg takes about 40 minutes. In Bad Gleichenberg you have the opportunity to explore the beautiful spa town: the village square with fountain, the spa park with its sequoia trees as well as many cozy cafes and restaurants invite you to linger. After a pleasant stay in Bad Gleichenberg, you will return to Feldbach.
A train ride can also be ideally combined with a hike: take the Gleichenberg train for a while, walk a bit and then get back on the train.
Families also like to take the Gleichenberg train to get to Styrassic Park (approx. 1.6 km walk from the Trautmannsdorf stop).
