In Glitter Bay on the Süssau beach promenade, creativity becomes an experience – with a view of the Baltic Sea. The lovingly equipped workshop offers daily changing courses for children, adults, and groups. Glass bead spinning is particularly popular: At professional workstations, unique beads are created in the flame, which can be further processed immediately. There are also many other creative activities on offer, such as casting jewelry with Raysin, creating lanterns, painting silk scarves, and creating individual decorative objects. All courses are suitable for beginners and usually last around an hour – perfect for vacationers, day visitors, or spontaneous getaways.

The Glitter Bay is located directly on the Baltic Sea, at Strandpromenade 11, 23777 Süssau Strand (municipality of Heringsdorf, Ostholstein).
🚗 By car:
Coming from the A1, take the Neustadt i.H. exit. / Lensahn and follow the signs towards Cismar / Grube / Süssau. In Süssau the beach promenade is well signposted. A large, free parking lot is located about 100m from the store. From there it is only a few steps to the workshop directly on the dike.
🚌 By public transport:
The nearest train stations are in Oldenburg i.H. or Neustadt i.H.. From there, regional buses go to Süssau / Heringsdorf (stop: “Süssau Strand” or “Campingplatz Süssau”). The workshop is within walking distance.
🚶♀️ On foot or by bike:
The Baltic Sea Cycle Route runs directly through Süssau – perfect for a creative break with a sea view.
📍 Note: The glittering bay is located directly behind the dike – just follow the promenade to the house with the colorful signs.
