Description Destination
The Haydn House is the former home of the great composer and thus a historical site. Nestled in the baroque town of Eisenstadt, it is a jewel of Burgenland's cultural history, but also a memorial to musicians of international importance. The rooms are furnished with original furniture from the "Haydn era", and the historical wall paintings have also been carefully uncovered. The great composer's way of life and work is revealed to visitors, and Haydn's spirit can be felt at every turn.
Here, guests feel transported back to the Baroque era and the composer's world; this is where Joseph Haydn lived and where he composed.
