    Boarding options:
    Merano – Naif Valley. Ascent with the Meran 2000 cable car. The path runs from the Piffinger Köpfl (the mountain station of the Meran 2000 cable car, also accessible from the car park in Falzeben, Hafling with a cable car) a short distance along a wide road to a fork in the road, where signs point to the via ferrata. There you turn left onto path no. 18 (Ifinger Schartlweg – partially secured). This leads first slightly downhill, past two branches to the signposted access point just below the clearly visible rope-up point. (130 m ascent, 75 m descent, ¾-1 hour)
    Schenna – valley station of the Taser cable car. Ascent by train. Via the Ifinger Hut to the Ifinger Scharte and from there follow the Ifinger Schartlweg No. 18 (secured in sections) to the signposted entrance.
    (700 m ascent, 200 m descent, 2½-3 hours)
    Gsteier (middle station of the Meran 2000 cable car – short climb to Gsteier). Follow path no. 3 to Ochsenboden. Continue to the Ifinger Schartlweg (No. 18). Over this to the left to the signposted entrance. (850 m ascent, 3-3½ hours)
